Using 11/16ths master cylinder on single disc front end

Anybody have any legitimate thoughts about using an 11/16ths bore master
cylinder for a double disc front end set up on
a single disc front end that is suppose to use a 9/16ths bore master
cylinder...
What changes might be expected from doing this. I could see where it would
not be a good idea to go the other way around with this, i.e. using a single
disc master cylinder for a double disc front end. But I really can't see
where it would drastically effect any changes using the double on a
single...
I don't need any smartass comebacks here, but all well calculated thoughts
or opinions wanted...
thanks for any worthwhile replies.
With this set-up your brakes will come on with less lever
travel. Probably will be a little more sensitive to pressure
from your grip on the lever also. My guess is with a little
off-road practice (in a parking lot or similar area) you
should get used to it enough for it to be safe.
You will have about 33 percent more force required at the lever to obtain
the same stopping performance (just compare the areas of the two master
cylinder bores). You are the only one that can judge if that will be
acceptable to you. As Dave indicated, you will have less lever travel (not
surprisingly, about 33 percent less), which would be a positive.
