Worked on Bike - Part Two

The ol' RM is officially reassembled!!! It's been about 8 months
since my water pump drive gear broke and took my clutch with it about
halfway up Kelley Creek in the Sawtooth National Forest, and now,
finally, my bike is ready to ride again. New pump gear, new clutch,
new reeds, new top end. Wow.

Anyway, the final reassembly photos are up on the site (under
"Project Top-End Part Two"). I also put up a couple shots of the boy's
XR-100 under the "Workshop" section (3rd and 4th photos).

Taking Tiago's advice, I also changed the font color from teal to
hi-contrast white so things would be easier to read.

Our plan is to take the bikes out to Canton this weekend where my
folks live and break-in the RM running around their 5 acres. The boy
can get a little saddle time on his new ride and then, if everything
goes okay, we'll be ready to venture out the following weekend...
probably to either Red River or Crooked Creek (if they're open that
weekend). Wooo-Hooo!

Way to go Fred! The bike looks great and I wish you luck with the break-in
and seat time at the old folks home :-) BTW, those XR100's are perfect for
12YO kids!
Damm Canton, I have a little property outside of Ben Wheeler at
Callendar Lake. Have not been out there in years as the kids are
bigger now and it's not cool to go camping with Dad! It's not
big enough to ride on but one time we build a jump with old plywood
and I was the longest jumper and the biggest crasher!

I also love Canton on first Mondays, always get the roasted corn and
check out all the tools and stuff. Still remember when this old geezer
want $20 for an old drill that didn't have a cord, had been cut off....
