Fewer clutch springs?

Have a race this weekend and won't get the softer (stock) clutch springs
in time. Hate to have to race with these extremely heavy springs.

The bike has 6 springs. Thinking of removing 2, in order to make it
bearable to user the lever. Any chance I could warp the plate with 4
springs, instead of the normal 6? Plan to practice on Friday, race Sat
and Sun.
If you have "cup-shaped" washers ontop of your springs and they have to
convex end to the outside, you could mount three (or all) of them the
other way round. If you have flat washers, get the other type. Or mount
longer bolts to relieve the pressure on the springs a bit.

Safe to do? Or must I endure more of this pain till the new springs get
in?
If worse comes to worst and you run out of time, you can always throw a
Motion Pro Raptor clutch lever on there. My first real ride back from a
severely broken wrist was a super-long MX race called the Hangover
Marathon on New Year's Day. I could barely pull in the clutch on my
bike (a 125, no less...) with the stock lever, so we put the Raptor on
there as a stop-gap measure, just until I was able to operate the
clutch pain-free. It's been quite a few years and that Raptor lever is
still on there.

Just something to think about, since time is an issue...
I wouldn't do that. Your clutch might get stuck or slip.

Cheers,
Volker
