[OT] Custom throttle cables

Hi, folks. It's been a while...

Despite the subject, I have an [OT] query, because it's for my Land Rover,
not the bike. However, I figure that the answer's more likely to be found
here than in the LR group.

Can anyone suggest a supplier of custom-made throttle cables? I've just

Hmmm. Maybe it was a one-off, but my experience with Venhill was far
from "great". I sent them the old cables off my Fantic & asked for
exact copies. They eventually turned up about two weeks later than
promised, were hideously expensive, & the clutch cable didn't fit as
the nipple was too big[1]. When I told them, their reply was "we didn't
have any of that type - just file it down".

LOL, did exactly the same with our Beamish Suzuki and they were perfect ...

Not tried them with the Fantic yet.

fitted a f'off Edelbrock carb to my V8 Landy and the half-arsed throttle
solution supplied isn't up to the job, IMO, and the original cable is a bit
too short. I want to find someone who can make me a longer version of the
original cable.
