The worst task when fettling a bike is...............

My vote is for trying to remove baked-on gasket and/or gasket compound
without scratching the mating surfaces.
The easy way:
Mine is trying to remove old rusted taper roller head races.

A Dremel is your friend.
Easy.

Refitting the carb rubbers on a GPz900R.

Five minutes alone in a locked room with the designer, that's all I ask.
You're going to let him blow you?
Fitting new brake hoses to a GL1500.

Changing the clutch on a GL1500.

Changing the head bearings on a GL1500.

Changing the plugs on a Blackbird.

Valve clearances on a CBX.
Y'know there's a pattern here. I can't quite put my finger on it, but
there's a definite pattern.
elbow grease and liquid gasket normally works for me
