Clinically addicted to cheese?
Specifically, St Agur blue. Is it possible? Certainly feels like
it...
St Agur, yes. Dutch edam with cumin seeds, yes. Processed cheddar, no.
I wish there was a similar service delivering English cheese to
France...
You're close to Basel aren't you ? (or am I thinking of someone else?)
Yeah, and I've shopped there on occasion. But his range of cheeses
isn't huge and is _ridiculously_ expensive, as well as, often, being
over-aged. Nice shop, but you have to forget about counting your
change ;-)
Heh, the only shop I visited was the lackerli huus - lovely stuff & very
moorish.
I might be driving to Basel before xmas (to network/wifi my mates flat).
I'll drop you a mail if I do, I can stick a few choice slabs in the coolbox.
Sure. Let's do beers, at least.

Wonderful people, quick delivery, should help to fuel your addiction. Grès
des Vosges and Livarot are always on repeat order for me.
Ahh, Le Colonel. Had my best Christmas ever in Livarot.
Its something I get every Christmas, a piece of Livarot and a case of Liver
Rot......
Heh. I had both, *in* Livarot :)

Watch out Champ. You know St Agur comes from the Auvergne don't you?
I didn't know that.
But, the Auvergne is one of my favourite parts of France.
Beware, a craving for a 1000cc 72 degree V-twin may be next.
You're a very bad leopard.
D'you think she should be chastised?
Yes.
She should be sent to my room.

Thank you. I appreciate it.
I now feel safe enough to go to bed clutching my book;
Cooking with Fernet Branca; quite amusing in parts.
If I can't sleep I'll move onto Will Self's "The Book of Dave"; that's
been quite effective in getting me to sleep recently.

That would be worrying.
Try searching the web casein addiction.
no, but it is very nice indeed.
At the moment I prefere Gorgonzola.
However whenever I buy it I need to make sure I eat it quickly because
otherwise my Children beat me to it.
Maybe I should keep it in the dishwasher or laundry basket?

Hah! St. Augur is merely the "coca leaf" of cheeses. Mimolette, on the
other hand, is the purest pipe-ready crack by comparison.
Are you sure you're not pregnant?
The speed I'm getting through a wedge of Old Amsterdam [1] would suggest
Just bought a wedge of that!
Beloved is trying to wean me off cheese of any kind.
Addictive? yes
it is possible. Lovely with an olive or two and a dram of whisky in the
evening.
[1] Firm yet moist 18 month matured gouda. Nutty and full flavour.
