FXDX 2004.

Drinks for all...

The 2004 FXDX has a 150/80B16 71H rear tire, has anyone aver mounted a
larger tire on it ?
Yup.
You'll need a new rim, new swingarm, primary offset kit, transmission overhaul with extended transmission
shafts, frame modifications, special fender struts, new fender, and new paint job.
And the new tire. :-)
Assumed that was obvious, but you know what they say about assuming things!
Sorry, couldn't resist. I reminds me of the time I bought a set of
6" risers to replace some nasty looking 2" risers. After bolting them
up, I realized I also needed a new longer front brake line. Oh, also a
longer clutch cable. Oops, now I have to solder extra wire to an entire
harness.
Effe it, the old riser didn't look THAT bad..........That 6" riser
is still in the box.
