ot: top tips

don't wander about your house, barefoot in the dark.

Because otherwise you might catch a door frame with your foot and
break your little toe on your right foot so it's pointing 60 degrees
to the right.
COnversely, my collarbone was the least painful bone I've broken.
I broke mine on a night out, somewhat intoxicated. I didn't realise at
the time, and walked home, went to bed etc. When I woke up in the
morning, I'd torn a lot of muscles in my upper arm and neck, this was
Probably wise. Try not to do it again eh? Hope it stops hurting soon.

what made it painful.
I've broken bones in my hands a couple of times, once that I didn't
realise for a couple of weeks, so clearly not very painful.

On the _most_ painful front, it's hard to be clear which of the nine
ribs, sternum and six vertebrae were causing the most pain, but the
combination was quite overwhelming.
Steph and I used our powers of distraction iirc.
60 degrees toe-out? You wanna get down to a laser alignment centre
pronto.
Or the toe-arranger
"Hi-ho, toe nail awaaaayy!"
Sound like it's too late for that. He'll need to be seeing the
Toecutter
"Remember the Night Rider, when you look up to the night sky"
Tape it to the next toe along. Don't let it float about unstrapped or
it'll really hurt later.
He should consider moving to Camber Sands.

I bet. GWS etc.
Broke 3 last year.

Smarts a bit, but the annoying thing is how long they take to heal.

Hint: if it's less than 6 weeks, you only dislocated them.

I wore a sodding sandal to work for 8 weeks :(
Clumsy cnut. But yes, ouch, redoubled in spades, you poor sod. You know
you're likely to bash it again now, don't you?
it probably won't surprise you to learn that this is not the first
time I've broken this particular toe.

The last time the culprit was a coffee table, and I've vowed not to
have one in the house since. Hard to do without door frames, mind.
Whilst I understand your efforts to hold true to your roots, may I
suggest wearing something on your feet?
I don't own any slippers, and if I happen feel like wandering around
downstairs in the middle of the night, I'm unlikely to put shoes and
socks on to do so.
You have children in the house? They have Lego? You mad impetuous fool.
heh.

And...what have you done to your newsreader? It garbles the quoted
content, as per above.
That's the brand new version of groups, I'm afraid.
well, later on this year they'll be 14 and 18 respectively, so they're
somewhat past the lego phase.
Broke both my little toes in the summer. I promise you that at every
opportuntiy that very same toe will collide with hard objects.

Alcohol will not help.
Or learn where things are.
Yeah, broken toes hurt. Ask Bear.
Ho, yes.

Though the pain that hit just after I crawled from under my bike after
my leg was broken in a SMIDSY was quite something; it just didn't last
that long.
Slippers dont seem so old dufferish now do they ;)

GWS .. and sympathies
