FOAK: Cam chain?

So, FOAK, what would be symptoms of a cam chain in need of adjustment?
The word "Honda" on the petrol tank is often a clue.
Yes, for some reason [1] my .sig didn't show. It *is* a Honda, how did
you guess? And... do you have any other symptoms?
If it stops rattling, it's snapped.

What bike is it anyway? At least Honda made thier camchain tensioners easy
to adjust on all the ones I've come across.
CX500A cam chains were very easy to change [1]

[1] When you had the engine out to replace the crank

[1] Trying to move to Thunderbird for email and news.
Tell ye what, give us the first couple of letters of the model
designation, and we'll all start to guess,
CB, or VF is it?
CB this one, but I've owned a VF500F.. no cam chain problems there
though. Not entirely sure there's a problem with this one, either, but...

The engine in question is my lovely rusty 30 year old jap paperweight. [1]

[1] It's been in for a "service" but I'm unsure if it actually was adjusted.
