size 500 chain

anyone know where i can get one or even the specs on one?? my semi ancient
Any bearing supply company should have it.

honda needs one. i've seen sprocket kits offered that convert to 530 chain
but i dont have any experience with swapping them. i dont want to drop 120
bucks on an oem quality chain with changeover kits running the same price.
any ideas?
A couple of jacketed rounds into the crankcase ought to quiet it right
up.
Are you sure it's a "500" chain? My GSXR came with a D.I.D. 50VA or
Takasago RK50HFO chain, which was a heavy duty version of a 530 chain.
When it wore out, wanna guess what I installed?
Thanks Kranky, that may just be the case. The parts list calls for an
rk50-ks-102l or a did-50dds-102l. I assumed since ther e were 480's and
520's this must be a 500. the sprockets seem to be in fine condition(9200
miles)with no visible wear--should i wait for the changover kit till next
time and just get the 530 this time. thanks for the quick response, i've had
trouble posting all day.
