Silkolene chain lube

OK I got some of this today - up 'til now a good mate's done it with
Molykote (sp?).

Anyway I rode around and warmed it up, gave it a coat and it seems to
have 'dried in place' - I have whitish patches all over the chain now -
will that fade or did I do something wrong ? :)

As an aside I got the owner's manual. Engrish and a bike manual is let's
say very entertaining. I see me going in to the garage to fix something
and spending the next hour flicking pages and chuckling..

eg
"This motorcycle always come on the headlamp when starting the engine"
maybe it's somethin the motorcycle did on the chain when starting the
engine... =8^O

No all is good. Pre the R1200 I had a Daytona and used the Silkolene
lube.
Found the white chain look quite matched the silver paintwork
actually.

Very little mess either.
