How do you oil your chain?

I just want to know the easiest way to oil a chain. I have a great
idea on how to do it, I just wonder how YOU do it.
They need oiling? ;)
Wash it. Dry it with a rag. Hit it with a good layer of WD-40. Put
it away. Hit it with the NEW & IMPROVED Bel-Ray before riding.

Hank <~~~always thinkin'
WD-40 !!! Lubricates - Pentrates - Frees sticky mechanisms
...causes blindness, sterility, and brain damage.
I just splash it with old used oil.
I hit "send" before time...

I was just saying that it doesn't matter where I live. In the first
10km of the ride, there will be lots of mud and water, so the lube
stays there. On the way back, happens the same. So, I just wash the
mud off and put a good layer of used oil... My chain lasts one year of
an average riding of 100km twice a month.
Poke a small hole in your countershaft seal and walah, self oiler.
I honda red-can my o-ring chain after every ride.

because I use the red-can stuff, I never need to clean the chain.

They are dropping this lube, next stop for me will be the home-despot
sold dupont teflon lube.

Lotsa good feedback on that one for o-ringers.
