Cleaning Carbon

The carbon bits (so called silencers hehe and rear hugger) are looking
more grey than black, what's a good solution for cleaning them and
bringing back the black?
The stuff the HG do that is like wadding is great for most things like
that. It brought my Yoshimura can up like new. I also find muc-off
pretty decent.
Might give Muc-off a try thanks.
Autosol works quite well at removing the white layer on carbon fibre.
Then for a hugger, you could use boot polish though a silencer would be
too hot.
I just tried it on a carbon paddle. I'll see how the shine lasts
after a few river trips.
Is "river trip" some sort of euphimism?
