Changing Float level on GS125

Hiya all,
Was really looking for help to get me finally on the road!
Ive been given a Suzuki GS125 which needed a bit of work. All has been
done now apart from the float level. I have found out it is meant to
be 24.5mil but how do i set it up to that? How will i know? If anyone
I have no idea of the specifics for a GS 125.

The Haynes or Clymer manual you will be able to obtain on request from
your local library will have. Whether their idea is wholly accurate has
been held to be a moot point amongst some deinzens of this parish.

In the interim, if it runs it may not be too far off. If it doesn't run
try filling the float chamber by tickling the carb (or I s'pose in worst
case, um, maybe remove the float run a bit of fuel in then switch off the
fuel before it floods) and see if itruns, runs for a while then diesor
whether it simply doesn't run.
I suppose that's a backward way of coming at the question which is 'Why do
you think there's a problem with the float level anyway'?

can give me a really easy to understand explanation i would be VERY
VERY grateful!
Cheers
