Hi ,would anyone know where to get the carbys overhauled in Brisbane apart
from the normal answer take it to a bike shop. Is there soneone who does a
good job and doesn't rip you. Thaks Rod

Tony Bogaart did a good job of refurbishing the carbies on my '79 Bimmer.

His price was reasonable, and he was prepared to put himself out to help
someone who was just passing through. He's on the south side.

Can't hurt to give him a call.

Oh , I don't know unless you can find an older mechanic .. the south I
could suggest.. ( thats deep south )

The Amals are pretty low tech. Anyone with a bit of mechanical
aptitude should be able to do it themsleves. Probably by now though
the slides are carb. bodies are worn. New slides will help. Don Newell
should sell Amal parts.
