50,000 Mile Mark... Wah Hoo!!!

With my knees in the breeze I go around the next bend and trip the
50,000 mile mark... wah hoo!!! I feel so glad that I tap my feet on

I thought you had like 45,000 on it back in 01? It took 6 years to get to
50K, or do I remember its 01 mileage wrong?

You remember 45,000 right but you have forget it was Kilometers which is 28,000
|
That sounds better. I didn't think you were the 1,000 miles/year kinda guy.

the foot pegs and toot the horn... it's exciting to me because I may
have more RC45 seat time than Colin Edwards... Carl Fogarty... John

So what has it been like??? well I've lived 3 life times on Mr.RC45
but I'd still gamble everything for one more perfect corner... and I
ain't backing off yet... in fact I have a burning ambition to achieve
100,000 mile mark... not in moderation either... I'll have blisters on
my hands...
Does this bike need me??? well since that fateful day in Tijuana
Mexico 1998 I have labored over 2000 working hours and fulfilled 7
pages of aftermarket and hand crafted mods for a net loss of 21
pounds... On the digital scale I'm elated to record Mr.RC45's tank
empty weight at 418 pounds with a rewarding 52% front and 48% rear
weight bias... but I ain't done yet... I have a definite goal of of
riding a 400 pound RC45 before the end of my riding career... I shall
attain it gradually with the help of a Lathe and a Milling Machine...
