2001 RK carburated fuel tank

Shirley a lil fillem'up around the bar please. I've tried as best I
could to cross refference fuel tanks that will fit an 01 carb'd RK,
best I've been able to get is 96' and up (which don't sound right) and
99-02 which I think is the case. However, I knows there's sum real
fine folks here who'll have the definitive answer.

Aftermarket or HD? Looking at my picture book it looks like your
original tank part # is 61225-98 (carbed, 01, tank, primed). If I had
to guess between your choices I would have to guess the 99-02.

That is the same part # listed for my 1999 Road King (61225-98, carbed, 99, tank, primed).

Thanx Hoppy, going OEM and P/N is correctoamundo. 99'-02 is my guess as
well but kinda could be a costly mistake if'n we're wrong. I have seen
some folks on e-bay sayin' "96 and up" for carb RK's but ......maybe
gona ping korporate spy and see if'n he can help. Thanx anywho
