Paging TOG (or any other CB400/550 Four owners.

I've been on a tidy up today and have come across a Haynes book of
lies. In very good nick (slight yellowing of the pages only). Do you
want it? I don't want anything for it and can lob it to darsy on
Thursday who can give it to Timo who can give it to you.

Or if anyone else is interested, I'm sure the UR can cope with it. I'm
meeting up with Veggie and Fluffycat on Monday, so the UR can take a
different line if needs be.

Oh, I'm not sure, but I think my folks have uncovered a 550/4 engine at
home which has been stored in their shed for the last, er, 10 years or
so. I think it's in good nick and am waiting for them to send me photos
of it, to confirm it is a 550/4 engine (probably without a rocker
cover). Otherwise it's a GSX250 engine. In Newport Plankton^w Pagnell.
Anyone interested? Again, it's for free. I don't think I've got a log
If it's a CB550F2 or compatible, I am definitely very interested.
It's that long ago, that I really don't remember. I think it may be an F1
though.

Physically, can one tell the difference between an F2 and an F1 though looking
at photos?
No: the engines are identical. Different carbs on the 550K, though.
Ta.

Do you need (or would you like) the book?
Got two already!

Otherwise, I'll get a snapshot of the engine number, which should tell all.

book for it though.
