Paging the Vino Pikeys
|
Our local Tesco are currently offering 30% discount on 6 or more
bottles of wine - including the already heavily discounted special
offers and bin ends. I presume it's a national promotion.
|
Also online and, for the uber-pikeys (pikies?), there's a 1000 points
code which works with a £25 spend. 1000 points is 2/3 of a Eurotunnel
ticket.

Must be, they're even doing that deal in Wales! So is it worth buying
wine this way - as you feel like it, or would it be worth while
joining one of them there wine club things? If so, whats th best
value one around? We're just going through a fair bit and there's got
to be a better way...

If you want to educate yourself about unusual areas of the world then the
mixed cases from laithwaites.co.uk are good. Look out for leaflets from
credit cards or magazine adverts for really good introductory offers.
Majestic are good too. Fewer mixed case but lots of choice. Free delivery
if you are in range of a shop (the Cardiff branch delivers to Abergavenny
so I guess they willdeliver to Chepstow too). Getting a delivery from a
local shop means you can arrange delivery at a convenient time much easier.
If you know what you want then buying in bulk from Tesco is probably the
cheapest way, save taking a trip to France.
