Brakes - final stage

I now have a replacement brake lever fitted. The brakes are bled but
there's still a lot of lever travel. The lever comes half way back to the
bar, then the brakes engage.

How do I lose the travel?
You've still got air in the system.
*Still*?? I flushed almost a whole bottle of brake fluid through before
the lever snapped, and there weren't any bubbles coming out by the end. Sod
it.

A little trick some use is to pull the brake lever tight and tie it in
position. Leave it overnight and the brakes should be OK in the morning.
Yeah, did that bfore....

Yamaha obviously designed their Fazer breaks with a little air trap
somewhere, I've never had this much bother before.
Chop the ends of your fingers off.
