Hello there.. new to the group/area..

Greetings, all.

I've recently moved to the UK and am considering (finally) purchasing a
motorcycle, as I've wanted one for many years and can now afford such a
luxury for myself. (I was in the US Army for many years and money was
tight, which put ownership of a motorcycle on hold for far too long.)

I haven't bought one yet, so I'm basically just saying hello and what-
not. I've enjoyed what I have read of the group so far, and am greatly
looking forward to riding and discussing all manner of things in 2007.

Enjoy biking; it's fun. It's not the only fun, but it's fun of a very
specific type, and one that isn't easily replicated in other forms.
