FOAK: Online Contact Lens Suppliers

I've not had a consultation for a while, so I can't get Tesco or similar
to send me lenses in the post.

I do, however, know my lens specification and prescription - is there a
recommended supplier who'll not dig into my prescription history?
Why don't you do the sensible thing and go for a consultation? It's
not just about checking your prescription has remained the same but
you'll know that someone has had a good peer at your eyes to make sure
there aren't any other problems.

I just want a box of daily disposables to wear for sports / swimming and
possibly on the bike - I'll not be wearing them long-term, so a single
box will probably last me at least a year.
So you are willing to drive knowing you may have defective vision and
are willing not to do anything about it ?
Like the majority of drivers out there, you mean?
Its beyond belief that to get the annual tax disc the owner does not have to
provide a new eye exam cert and prove they have purchased the appropriate
lenses.

tut tut
I think you will find that Steve knows best.
I think you'll find that I can't be arsed with the jumping through hoops
to get a new contact lens prescription when I'm only going to wear them
once or twice a month.

I'd never go back to daily use, so if I need to get back for a
consultation, I probably won't bother at all.
