Last Ride

Today marked the last ride on my Evo Nighttrain. She's history. Left her
at the dealership and rode off into the sunset on an '02 FLHT. It's
You're only as old a s you look hehehe
rico

gonna take a bit of gettin' used to, but with perseverance I'm sure I
can find the path. I can't believe how stable it feels at 65/75 mph
compared to the softtail. I think I might get to like this bike.
Congratulations! You're gonna love that bike, you Geezer you!
The FLH's are stable and nimble too! Sometimes I think my FLHR just goes to where I 'think'
I want to go, I turn my head and I'm there. Sometimes... that can be a little scary.
Welcome to Geezerdom!

What did they do?
Swap you bikes for your troubles?
No, I had to cough up cash. What I did was take the bike over to the
dealer last week and have the service manager take it out for a good
long ride. He put 80 miles on it and came back and said that he'd feel
comfortable loading it up and heading for Colorado the next day. Said
the thing was rock solid. Went to the sales guy and told him I wanted to
trade and the service guy had just given the bike a clean bill of
health. I got a real clean bike for a decent price and not only
eliminated my worries, but discovered how nice road sofas can be.

And I ain't no Geezer so FYYFF!
Yer gonna love it . Fat lady's can dance gracefully too ... welcome to
geezerhood .
I thought my FXD was comfortable, even over a long haul, and stable.
The Geezerglide has it beat although I don't find it quite as stable
at low speeds or in long sweepers.
Other than that? No contest.
No, you can't have th' Uni-Go back.
That was one of the first things Danny mentioned. Don't worry, I had my
miles with the Uni-Go. Gotta wonder how you get to make the decision
though. I thought custody had passed on to another party. Maybe the
larger question is whether you can have it back.

Snarl... enjoy
