OT : Sim Unlocking a Nokia N70

Can anyone here do it, or do I have to pay Orange some wonga ?

You'd have thought so eh !
I took it to a local nokia cervix center this morning.
They were able to un-orange it for me (remove the orange toolbar & update
firmware), but were unable to make it sim free.

N70 and other Symbian Nokias haven't been cracked yet and can only be
unlocked by your supplier. Vodafone charged me £20
|

My local supplier of dodgy phones to chavs can do it. Mebbe you have one
round your way somewhere. I believe ours charges £10 according to my
daughter who *knows about these things.

but never tried it myself as I have a 3120

I have a standalone copy of DCTCalc, this method of unlocking doesn't work
with the newer Symbian S60 OS based phones.
Ta though !

Pay Orange, there isn't any available software for the latest Nokias yet.
I'm trying to unbrand my Orange N80 at the moment but Phoneis isn't
playing ball
