Took delivery of mine yesterday - seems a pretty competant, if basic bit of
kit. Full UK and Ireland maps (plus a bit of Northern France) included.
Would need a bit of fettling to fit to a bike, as it really needs a flat
surface to suction-cup to, and isn't waterproof, but it's the cheapest sat.
nav. I've seen to date (wait six months and they'll be even cheaper, of
course).
The one with the black and white display
Yep - that's the one. Didn't see the point in paying extra for the i3 (best
price I saw was in Comet, for
just to get a colour screen. The B&W display's perfectly clear, and in a
car, you don't spend much time looking at the display. I think colour eats
more battery as well.
