OT: Picasa Web

I know there's a few Picasa users in here... I seem to have picked up the
capability to publish to the web direct from Picasa, which, after some
delving, appears to be in beta and released to some subset of Picasa users.
Yep, use it myself. Brilliant.

It utterly rocks. There is just no quicker way of getting pics on the web,
and the albums it produces are really slick, with slideshow capability etc.
Yeah, I had a quick play last night. Seems slick, as you'd expect, but
I'll hold out until they ramp up the free storage as flickr is bound to
do something to retaliate.
250 is quite a lot of photo's, especially when you ramp them down a bit
(as picasa now does automagically).
I tend not to - a lot of photos I put on the web are the sort (family etc)
that relatives want to print, so I tend to put them up pretty high-res to
allow it - hence 250Mb is not really that much.

250MB of free storage, or you can pay web-search £20 for 6GB [1]. Highly
Only if you are in merkin land and have a merkin billing address.
Highly

recommended.
Seconded.

[1] web-search charging directly for a service....interesting shift in the
model...
