Snow Run '06, part deux
|
Made it home. Had a great time, as usual. Thanks to Jackie and Pete.
|
Glad to hear you and Alex made it home safe. Gotta love his sense of
humor...
|
Frito is becoming the SR Saint. Last year he saved my life (well,
helped me get to the ER for a sprained knee, but if yer gonna tell a
story ya ought to make it worth listening to) and this year he helped
Les save a number of old Triumph and BSA carcasses on Saturday
afternoon. Whata guy, whata guy...
|
This makes 4 of 'em he's picked up and held for me over the past few
years. The first one could have been hauled in the trunk and back seat
of the Grand Am we had. These made me buy a larger trailer so I could
get 'em all home.

There's the proof that you were drinking too much, cause
everybody knows I'm not that helpful. And it's just because
I'd been drinking that folks can take advantage of me. I
feel so cheap & used.
|
Slut .
|
Nope, he's a pimp. He keeps pimping his slutty British bike finds off on me.
|
|
|
I met a new face or two (Hi Gator), and being the eco-concious
motorcycle enthusiasts that we are, we emptied many beer bottles and
cans for recycling and turned an entire tree into ashes in a big fire
ring.
|
Pete's giving that fire ring a good test. It'll take a long time to burn
thru that 3/8" thick pipe.
|
Didn't get to say goodbye to Laura and James. I don't know what they
were doing in their tent for so long, but they were still in there when
Alex and I left. "See ya later" to James and Goddess.
|
Maybe trying to figure out how to remove the air mattress, after all the
effort it took to get it in the tent?
|
Got some video of Snag performing emergency repairs to a marshmellow
stick that I need to get up on the net somewhere, too.
|
Duct tape or bailing wire?
