Hughenden M40 good/bad?
Anyone dealt with the above please, especially for Triumph's? Good or
bad experience?
I like the A40 and normally stop there and press my greasy nose against
their windows, no doubt annoying them.
Legendary bad dealer. Avoid.
hmmm. Any examples?
If a hypothetical person were to hypothetically buy a brand new
hypothetical bike from them at a hypothetical very good price, he/she
could get warranty/servicing etc. sorted out at another dealer though,
right?
Hypothetically, you'd be obliged to have the first service at the
supplying dealer's, but from then on you could have it serviced anywhere
you like within the Triumph dealer network while it is under warranty.
I'd recommend Flitwick Motorcycles, but only because I work there.
I didn't realise you were there. I'm originally from Ampthill.
I live 100 yards down the hill from the bike shop, going away from town.
Could I get a good deal on a brand new 675 (> 1,000 off list) at Flitwick?
I dunno, you'd better ask Saul, the sales manager - I beaver away in the
workshops.
Of course.
web-search for recent comments in UKRM.
Ackshually, I -did- web-search here before posting. I only got 11 hits, no
negatives.
What did I miss?

Register on t595.net and ask there. You'll be shocked at some of the
stories.
As far as used sales go - my ex recently bought a mint 1000 mile old
Daytona 600 from another dealer[1]. We looked at one at Hughendon and
were disgusted at the conditon of it. Scratched, bashed, corroded with
10K miles recorded, and priced at more than the 18 month newer one with
1/10th of the miles.
[1] More of which at a later date, there's a story to be told when I'm
free to do so.
So it's OK to leave snotty smears on their windows then ...
and cum-shower marks, yes
OK - I'll carry a dirty magazine with me next time I'm in the area.
