Bargain of the century
|
OK, every so often you make a wrong call, and buying a Triumph Sprint ST
was mine. Bluntly, although the guides price a dealer buy-in at £2200 or
so, and a dealer sell price of £2700-ish, privately, it's a millstone
and not worth anything like that.
So it's going here for £1600, as I cut my losses.

What happened with PX for a new Tiger 1050 at that nice Mr. Rosner's eh?
|
|
Will you partx a Sprint RS, 26k, FSH, VGC, damaged front mudg, unridden
since last year? Lots of Triumph bits? Make an excellent project.....? I
feel like having a full-fairing...
|
|
You couldn't hide it somewhere until I get my January bonus could you? :-)
|
That's a Trumf 955i Sprint ST, 36k, as complete a service history as
you'll ever see, T&T, in glorious red, some extra carbon bits, factory
alarm/immobiliser, in superb condition.
SW London area.

Where's Sutton? ;)

Cnut
I'm tempted to keep it, actually, as it is a real fun bike to ride.
I just don't *need* it.

Seriously I am far too weak-willed to resist this ATM. But I'm not sure if
it's a little lardy for scrawny me.
There's only one thing to do.
|
You have electronic mail. Twice. The first was from when I assumed you'd
deny my CIHAGM.
I'll bring my CBT, you'll probably want to see that. :-P

They aren't lardy, and are fairly well balanced to boot. If I had any
space left in my garages I'd be sorely tempted (had one before) but I
haven't, and I don't really need another sports tourer either.

|
If you had put Blondie on it before we left for Dieppe it could have been
sold by now. Seat height is everything.
The price thing is reminiscent of certain BMW's, the "book" is miles out
against the marketplace.
