phew[1][2]

[1]made it back from Swindon 45 minutes before the heavens open it's
started chucking it down c/w thunder and lightning.

[2]Triumph Tiger bar-ends/mirrors *just* make it through the gate that
leads to the back of my house.
I picked up a Triumph today as well.
That looks worryingly similar to this bike I saw on the IOM.

Beware puddles of oil forming round the sidestand.
Even the _sidestand_ leaks oil? Sheesh.

Probably not as fast as yours, I only managed to see 75-80 on the clock;
I say 75 to 80 because the needle seemed to be bouncing between these
two speeds.

It's a '62 speed twin which is really a bitsa. Still it runs ok and has
only done about 200 miles since the engine was rebuilt. I doubt I'll do
much to it.

Very, very odd bike to ride. The right hand gear change really makes me
think and slowing down so I brake and change gear at the same time is
significantly more difficult than I'd have expected. Bikes have
certainly come on a long way in the last 30 or so years[1].
