What do we think of

the Triumph Daytona 955i? My RSV is beginning to give me tenosynovitis.
Good:
* The power is delivered nicely, so it's easy to use. I rode mine
around on the torque mostly, and it hoons nicely when you wind it all
the way up.
* Get a race can, and the noise is wonderful.

Bad:
* Running costs seem to be a fair wedge higher as a jap bike (?240 for
a clutch, ?500 for a big service)
* Opens you up to old giffers telling you about bonnevilles every time
you stop somewhere.

I'm not sure on this handling lark. I don't have many problems as
such, but I've never been quite happy. I think it's a product of mine
being 7 years old, and although I fiddled with the settings it never
seemed quite right.

I'd go for a newer one, as after riding mine, WavyDavy's and Adie's at
a *OSM a while back there was a very noticable improvement to Adies.
More power, and it did handle nicely.
When they give it a facelift to look more like the 675, I'll buy one.
they have already said that they arent going to do that and it isn't
to be improved with the 1050 engine either.

seems like its going to be binned in the near (ish) future.
