Your opinions please.
Triumph Sprint RS, the later ones with single-sided swing-arms?
given you hated the ZZR I cant see you liking the Sprint.
Cheers for that, a good write up.
Not as nice as a Daytona. Special Edition. Black.
Old man's bike.
I'm not exactly young now, am I?
Neither am I, and I've got a 10R
I'm older still and *I'VE* got a Honda (Civic 1.5)
I'm under 30 and I've got a Honda Civic.
Not for much longer mind.
I'll stop riding sports bikes when they scare me.
But you're the king of Pahnd Island, and I feel more like Forrest Gump
nowadays
I've got both. Well an ST not an RS.
And your opinion of the ST is?
Here, have a box of chocolates.
I'd rather have a new pair of Nikes
Good Ged man! what about the ethics?
He needs more than a pair of those.
I have no ethics, and highly dubious morlas. I like it this way too.
^^^^^^
This is a euphemism, yes?
No, no, they aren't ethical.
Cue jokes about Loz not being ethical too.
^^^^^^^^^
This is a euphemism, yes?
I've never owned anything made by Nike.
You want ethics, go look for auvache...
Being ethical has never been a major concern for me.
Was hoping for a more of a bite than that.
rode a mates while in the USA in July - 250 miles/day - no problem.
well except it does get quite hot with those exhausts - probably ok in
the winter though. Not when its 104 ambient.
I looked at one before I bought the ZRX. Seemed a bit bland by
comparison.
I looked seriously at a 2002 model ZRX1200S, but it seemed a little too
ponderous and bulky for me. The depreciation on most Japanese stuff is
putting me off too. Triumph prices don't seem to be quite so badly
affected by higher mileages and I'm bound to put quite a few on the next
bike. The ZRX I looked at was roughly the same money as a 2004 Sprint
RS, but I just know the ZRX will be worth half of what the Triumph will
be in 2 years time with the same mileage.
I'll counter that argument with suggesting that only the likes of Harley
Davidson owners buy a machine because it has low depreciation.
Yeah, but they're all middle aged accountants playing at being Easy
Rider, so it's understandable they'd be worried about depreciation.
