Bandit seat options?
|
I have a (thinks) Corbin seat on the B12 which is like sitting on a
dinner plate. Too wide, the GSXR K1 seat was much more comfortable. The
standard bandit seat isn't much cop either. Also the standard design of
seat and seat cowl looks pretty gash IMHO.
The Blaney B12 had a 916 style conversion, this looks great and with a
gel pad might feel ok. Having had a 996 I know the pillion perch is all
|
Still does. And it's the most comfortable seat I've ridden on - moreso
than the ZZR11 seat.
|
Yeah I found the 996 fine for 3 hours. The Gixxer was 5.

but useless though.

Pillion perch on this is about the size and thickness of a slice of toast.
|
As I said! It's also too high over the rider.

Question is does anyone know of a decent conversion which junks the cowl
and standard pad for something that looks good and works well two up? I
saw a custom on the IOM which appeared to be something like an SV1000
unit, looked good but I expect it was a home made job. I'm looking for
an across the counter solution.
