I NEED a bike

Hey all

Here it is. The last bike I rode was a KH250 and I am now 47. I moved from
that to push bike and have been riding them in London for years.

I've now moved out of London but still work there(commute by train)

I now want to get a motorbike again, it's a calling :). I plan to get to
refresher lessons with
my brother who rides for the police.

I am looking at getting an 07 bandit 600 or a sports tourer at the same CC

What advice and recommendation on bikes would people make for this move back
to the
dark side (the bike will be my toy for fun weekends and no commuting I
cannot drive a girls car anymore the girlfriend has just got a new Yaris)

Does she like it, in the Yaris?

I've been biting my knuckles on that one
