Its blue, it is

and its mine.
Here's a picture of yours in 2001
Heh, am I a bit wierd in wanting to get my old number plate on this one?

Couldn't do it anyway cause its a W rather than an X.
Good to see you back to where you where though. I think congrats are in
Well you know I said I wanted to be back on one at the last French run.
Don't think it'll be ready for this french run though, but miracles can
happen :-)
Oh I forgot to mention, I must be getting *really* old or these are
such a lardy touring bike the insurers don't care about them any more.

Bike 1 : Suzuki V-Strom 1000
Bike 2 : Honda Africa Twin

New bike : 9R (just a bit quicker than the above two)

Insurance excess : £15 [1] [2]
Am I right to assume you don't mean "excess" at all, here?

Additional premium seems more likely.
You are right. I do mean additional premium.

[1] Well, it went upto £37 once I'd stated the aftermarket screen, bars
and pegs.
[2] Thats for the remaining 5 months the policys got to run. So about
£35 a year for unmodified 9R. Mad.

order :)
I told you those scratches would polish out. Well done.
Ta :)

I love that colour. It's what I'd spray the Corvette in if I could be
arsed to go through all the grief of a colour change.
It may depend on how quickly I can get the new toy picked up, plumbed in
Ah, well on the "what needs to be done" front there's good news.

I've decided to leave the left footpeg where it is, it would be nice to
have them both in the same position but I tried it like that and my
left leg hits the fairing all the time, which'd annoy me to hell. (one
more bonus for shorter legs I've found about about!)

Also on the right one its looking like a simple bent bar w two holes in
it will do for now, leaving an open timeframe for making a complete
nice new bracket.
Okey-doke. Trot it over at some point and we'll have a look.

and figured out.
It's very shiney indeed.

How much for the person who cleaned it up to pop round my place and chip
off the 6 inch layer of road salt on my bike ?
