Pour les réponses:
Interesting response; reminded me of Betty's recent post complaining of the
excessive maintenance costs she is paying as a consequence of travelling
lots of Km's. My understanding is that there is a positive correlation
between distance ridden and grog consumed. The supply of cider must be
running down a bit, and perhaps there is not much left to pour?
Rockit
wee wee (pardon my french).

Cider's all gone....
I dunno if Betty wan't to dip herself in beer but I'm sure Johno want to dip
And I want to dip myself in some English lessons!
I was a bit nonplussed by "wan't", but put it down to your excitement at the
prospect of a beer-dipped Betty.
A divergance Clem; I leave early am tomorrow on that trip to Shanghai
Well it made sense to me.

courtesy of the G P, Corp. Dunno, not all that excited at the prospects.
Think I'd be more content and comfortable doing something like riding my
bike over Hotham.

Ooh, tell me about riding over Hotham - I'll be doing that myself,
weekend after next. It looks scary....
Scary? It may be high (relatively), but it's not a vertical drop.

Nev..
Ah, but it doesn't have to be vertical to be scary... for me, anyway.
High, steep, winding, no guard-rails - that's enough!

well, there *is* that saddle just on the Harrietville side of Hotham......

For the most part the run is a good road with a nice surface. Are you
going up via Omeo? The Omeo-Hotham run is nice. The main dangers are
being distracted by the views and some of the blind corners on the
descent to Harrietville. They have done some work in recent years to
make them safer, but just assume there is a tour bus coming around every
corner and choose an appropriate road position.

If you are heading from Hotham to Omeo, keep an eye out for the speed
advisory sign (maybe 12 k before Omeo) on which someone has added an
exclamation mark. From memory it's a 50k/h advisory sign, and unlike
the others in the area, this one really means it.
Far canal; how did you wrangle that?!!?
At least there should be plenty of room in the grandstands......

himself in cider!
Clem, I like your way of thinking - here mate, have an extra XXXX
