(Possible) WavyFest en France

Looks like SWMBO is off to foreign parts[1] in mid-late August....

Anyone up for a potential WavyFest round here around the 20th?[2]
Hey!
1. That is within possible striking distance.
2. I just acquired a '97 Yamaha WR250 which might even be 'road legal'
for France by then. It is already registered here so I just have to
sort out insurance. Is it really true that bikes (enduro type at least)
do not need a controle technique?

But, I have to head back for Calais on the 23rd in time to watch some
bloke ride at the Manx, and more importantly blag a ride on my mate's
new Morini Corsaro 1200.

Keep me posted.
Oy! I said it could be doable too.
Yebbut you promise to attend like a girl... :)

Or I forgot.....
19 & 20 Aug I'll be in Reims. IIRC you are not very close to Champagne.
I am.

In the Australian sense of 'close'....

Dave
:-P

(See reply to Spete for details)
I think I'll pass on the 900 mile detour to my existing plans, thanks.

Have a nice weekend.
EOSM that weekend.
It is? Arse! So I miss both the BOSM *and* EOSM? Double arse!
Why don't you come over to EOSM?
'cos if SWMBO is over there, I've got to stay here.......
"minding France"
Heh..

I am the "Responsible adult" over here when she's in the UK....
Don't waste the opportunity, then: pass legislation to force automatic
petrol pumps to take UK cards.
Sod that. The 106BHP limit would be a good starter.
Why would I be interested in that? None of my bikes would trouble the
Some of your bikes are probably more scary with 40bhp than others with
240 though.

scorers as it is.
So you lot can hold me up at the pumps??? Why would I want to do that?
Ahh, I see.

Perhaps EOSM should be in France then.
Now *there's an idea.
Not my best ever though, as I wouldn't be going :(
Ahh yes.

Dave, make it a different weekend and I might be interested.

Dave

[1] Foreign = UK
[2] Maybe. As I may be checking out the regional trail bike routes in the
time she's off, so it's not sorted yet.....
Any particular part of France?
Could be a possible. Lemme know the dates if you change them.
