Do you think that two months is a normal timescale to have a bike repaired?

On the 17th of July my PARKED bike was knocked over by a blind bint in
a 4x4. Damage was mostly cosmetic. It was taken away a few days later
You are me AICMFF bent sidestands and burst fork seals.

by CN's reps and apart from a few letters and a bit of shouting about
how I am NOT paying any excess, she can, it all went quiet.

Today, I am the proud owner of a bike again. Yep, two months and a
bill of about two grand. But is two months normal? Whats your
experiences?
Well darsy's experience is about two years and counting. I was a bit
quicker with the Kawasaki.
and quicker still with the Honda.

I hope your not implying there's a bill of 24K coming...
I think it took about a month to get it all sorted out, but I was only
bikeless for about a week of that, as it was still rideable following the
prang. That was with CN as well, and the solicitor they used was actually
pretty good.
