HRCA anyone?
|
In case yer wondering... Honda Riders Club of America.
As a Honda owner, I joined the doggone thing. $39 provides towing,
saved me $5 on my MC insurance w/Progressive and is supposed to pay $75
towards my $90 MSF course next month.
Anybody else here a member?

Yep, me and SWMBO both. Me being gimpy and her not being mechanically
inclined, it's cheap insurance that we couldn't pass up. We've also got
AAA, and that's pretty much paid for itself every year since we signed on.

No, but it sounds like you got your money's worth on MSF costs alone.
The BMW owners club used to completely reimburse its members for the
cost of the course, but I'm not sure if that's still the case.
BTW, 90 bucks for the BRC is a steal. We must charge $190 for it here
in Texas.

Michigan is just $25, if you can get a slot. They usually book for
the year in the first two days of registration.

Yeah, I've seen it cost much mroe in other states. At least one and

Oh man. don't say that... I've got to do it for 10-12 hours! Hopefully,
we'll get to go in a straight line once or twice :)- Still, I'm going
into this thing with a "I have a lot to learn" attitude and hope to
make the best of it, even if we walk the bikes around first and maybe
push each other around... and then get to know the clutch, etc.
As for weather, it was gorgeous today - overcast, but warm; I've been
riding to work most every day since last week (except yesterday due to
rain) and the rest of the week thru Sunday is looking good.

possibly 2 dealers support my local MSF with - according to the
salesman at one of the dealers - free bikes, so maybe that's one reason
it's so cheap. And that's for like 3 hrs classroom and 10-12 hrs
outside.
