Spark Plug for Honda NSR 125cc

Do you know whether I could get a spark plug for a Honda NSR 125cc (2001) in
an ordinary Motor Factors?

Only if the shop has a conversion chart to tell you what the quivalent
of (for example) an NGK B8HS plug is for other makes.
And this presupposes you know what plug it should take anyway.

You want an NGK BR9ECS.

Doh.. I thought that sounded like a good swap. I've got a fine selection
of second hand spark plugs up for grabs.

My partner has gone to work this morning on his bike, which has suddenly cut
out and won't restart. it is trying but seems it's not firing. He has left
me a list of stuff he needs upon his return, a spark plug is on the list but
I don't know where to get one from!!

According to the NGK site, that bike uses a BR9ECS. I'd expect the
like of Halfords and motor factors to carry this, but it might be
worth ringing them first.

I know nothing about bikes AT ALL. If it still doesn't start I know where
there are some helpful people that may be able to advise ;))

I was in Northwich last weekend and a lass approached me with a leaflet
extolling he virtues of a web based bike forum (details on request). She
asked me if I used the web and I told her I used the 'net and was a UKRM-er.
That took her by surprise, but she went on to tell me she'd posted here
herself and got the "Does she", and "Have you any pics.." questions but
never got an answer to *her* question.
Having seen this thread, I'm beginning to think this place is like a well
matured scotch. Getting more mellow by the day.
