Where can I ride a 125cc Scooter?

I have done my CBT and have a 125cc scooter. I know that I can't ride
on motorways, however am I allowed to ride on A roads such as the A27?
Off Beachey Head seems to be the currently favoured response to such
queries.
Wake up at the back.
Are you sure you have done your CBT? This is exactly why the CBT was
introduced? Have you even opened the highway code or asked the tutor at
the CBT time? Or even the shop you bought it from.....

No motorways or pillion, L plates front & rear, but A roads are ok &
...which, for the benefit of the OP, *doesn't* include "A..M" roads
such as the A57M Mancunian Way... it's only a 50mph dual carriageway
but is considered to be a motorway of sorts by the old Bill and they
won't thank you for taking your L plate-festooned scooter on it.

make sure you are insured for the rest of us.
Sorry mate, but new legislation means that you can only ride scooters
on unclassified roads (i.e no A or B roads), and only between the hours
of 5.00am and 5.15am.
Motorways, however, are now fine for scooters under the new Darwinian
ruling. This new law also makes it legal to ride mini motos three up around
council estates. In the dark. With no helmets. At full chuff.
Day before yesterday I had an annoying incident (it involved a blue
lighting ambulance coming along on the wrong side of the road, and
it's a long story, but I had to report to the police), anyway, while
Fess up then.

anyway, while

reporting it, heard his radio go off and the voice of a PCSO "You are
going to love this one. One Honda Moped, three youths, one helmet".
I don't think Plod will be allowed to confiscate the helmet.
Who did you do your CBT with?

Do you really want to take a scooter on fast roads?
Ask Petal
The A27 struggles to be "fast" at the best of times.
My biker's garage is complete now I have a mountain bike hanging
upsidedown from the rafters. It's been there a month and I haven't even
ridden it yet.
That was half the fun, you fool!

(well my end of it anyhow)
Every road I go on is parked up.
Well busy then.
