You'd be amazed how many people buy a "big" bike before they even do a CBT.

Indeed. It was a whim, anyway. 'frailty, thy name is woman!'.
She knows that she only has to call me and if I'm not at work (and I'm not,
for the next >2 months), I'll come and get her if I'm in Paris (and I'm
rarely - if ever - outside Paris alone). The other week I took a pullover
up to her school (we're in the same job), 'cos she'd texted to me to say
she was 'cold'. Her own personal bike taxi service, and she goes and buys
a 50cc scooter? Wimmin..

I had four up for tests last week, four passed and all had bikes ready.

I guess it says something for their confidence. Wouldn't risk it
myself, but then I did buy a car before passing my test, so I can't
really talk. At least I could use that to practise in though.
