GL1500: Engineered Tires



Should I stick with the OEM tires honda put's on their GL1500's,I think
they're
the Dunlop K177's? My rational,is why change what is obviously Honda
engineers
tested combo but I'm open to suggestions for sure.
Stock tires are a compromise for average riding style and cost.
If you are an average joe they are just fine.

If you tend to run hard thru the twisties you'll want a stickier
performance tire which you pay for in reduced tire life. If you are a
I'm very much *average joe*..and since it was
earlier confirmed I should not mix brands,I'll need to stick with the
tried but true K177's Dunlops upfront.... at least I feel better
knowing 85,000 GL1500's used this series tire at one point. :=)

sedate get on the superslab and roll type you'll want a high mileage
tire which you pay for in reduced stickiness.
