Dry weight (honda) ?

Will someone please tell me what the dry weight of an 86 or 87 Rebel
450 is? thanks in advance. I haven't had much luck with the search
engines.
Wikipedia has a stub article about the CMX450, it claims 188kg, not
specified whether that is wet or dry.

188 kilograms = 414 pounds

I'm just guessing that will be the dry weight.
I sure hope a 450 would not weigh that much, even back then.
Hoping is what the manufacturers do a lot of, with respect to their
published weight figures, as in they hope no one actually puts the
bike on a scale and finds out what they really weigh.

Dry weight is only interesting to people who are willing to drain the
engine completely free of oil, coolant, drain the fork oil, the oil
in the shocks, empty the electrolyte out of the battery, drain the
gas tank, you get the idea. I prefer to have all those fluids in
place, it makes for a nicer riding experience.
Hmmm, I used to own one of those. Lighter than the Nighthawk 750. About
the the same as the F4i?
Certainly not heavy.

Nice little grocery getter.
