Anyone going on Saturday?
|
I'll pass it on.
|
Heather and I will be easy to spot as well be soaked.
|
I might just go myself.
|
If you do, don't have the festival chicken chow mein. Trust me on
this, just don't.

Heather and I are going on the bike to get through the rumoured
|
Ah, I meant to say. I may need to borrow that Marshall Combo. I've got
an acoustic gig coming up.
|
No worries but you'd have to collect as I still
can't drive atm with the broken bones.

It's always dreadful. We're going away for the
weekend in the opposite direction.
I think they block off the right turn into Hylands
(from the opposite side of the road) via the A414,
so you have to continue into Chelmsford and then go
round the roundybout and back out on the A414 to then
turn left into Hylands. This causes chaos at the
Chelmsford end and traffic usually tails back into
the town and along the A414 to the A12 as well.
But you should be ok on a bike - just ignore the
police directing traffic.
It usually causes chaos on the trains as well. We're
due the soap dodgers on the train tonight as they
all make their way and try to jump the barriers.
They'll be there on monday morning as well, stinking
up the carriages and making the trains even more
packed than they already are.
I noticed that rail staff on that particular stretch
of line are conveniently going on strike - you guessed
it - for 24 hours between saturday and monday this
weekend, including Chelmsford station.[1]
[1] not bait for Corfield/Sweller, honest!
|
dreadful traffic.
