Kudos to McGrath!!

Ok, so I attended the Al Lamb's Dallas Honda Open House earlier this
evening, and what a treat it was! All the Honda riders were there ...
McGrath, Short, Milsaps, Preston, LaRocco and Windham. Jeff Stanton and
Eric Kehoe were on hand as well. I got a chance to speak a bit with Jeff
Stanton. It's really great to see that he's still involved with Team Honda
and giving back to the sport.

But, what really impressed me overall was Jeremy's outstanding courtesy and
sincere fan appreciation. He even interrupted a conversation with Kevin
Windham to come back to his seat at the table and sign an autographed poster
for my son Shelby. Since I got there late after most everyone else had
vacated the showroom, I figured he'd be tired of signing autographs. I even
commented to him about that and his response was, "Nah, never!" What a
showman and a true representative for the sport!

All the Honda riders seemed to be a real class act! Best of luck to the Red
Riders tomorrow evening!!

And, to top it off I was also blessed in having the time to make it over to
Action Kawasaki as well and get autographed posters from Grant Langston,
Michael Byrne and the resident King of SX (IMHO) "James 'Bubba' Stewart".
These guys were also very courteous and appreciative of their fan support.
Grant Langston struck me as a very genuinely personable fellow. James was
the courteous showman as always obliging folks with some group photos as the
evening drew to a close.

Overall, it was probably the best evening I've ever had in meeting a select
group of the best riders our country has to offer. I wish I could have made
it over to Honda/Suzuki North to meet Ricky as well ... but even on the R1
there's only so much ground I can cover in the hour between 6pm and 7pm.

Just can't wait to arrive at Texas Stadium around noon tomorrow for a
fun-filled day of SX excitement! :)
