It would be better to spend your pocket money on a working keyboard and
a few adult literacy lessons.

Hi Gareth,

I've got an '04 Varadero 125. It's a bit on the heavy side (150kg) for
a 125 as someone pointed out, but then again it has the full
learner-legal 15hp (wahey!), so it's not as if it's sluggish by 125
standards. It's big too - much more like a 500/600. The relatively high
seat helps keep you visible in traffic and gives you a good view of
what's going on. The only criticism people seem to have of them is the
price - they're something like =A33400 new, but you can get a good 04 or
05 bike with a couple of thousand miles on the clock for more like
=A32200.

Feel free to ask more questions - if I know the answers, I'll get back
to you. You could also try the 125 forums at
while as there's a new 07 model coming out - fuel gauge, restyled
fairing and fuel injection being the main differences - and it's
likely to hit the price of the existing model.
