Honda NX 125 (XR 125 family) won't start?

I have a Honda NX 125 (which I think is of the family of bikes XR 125),
and it won't start. I think it is something to do with the carburettor:
at least, the spark plugs remain dry after attempts to start. Can
anyone help or give me a pointer? A cheap place to find the manual
online would be a help too, if anyone knows of that. Many thanks in
I know this is the manual for the 250 but (looking from pics) it may

Why not post the url for a Harley manual and have done with it?

contain just the information you need.

advance,
It is based on the XR, which is in turn based around the CG engine.
The XR is pushrod, not OHC?
quantity. They are a lovely little thing. Half width front drum ( imagine
an early CG/XL/CB hub ), nice bit of bodywork, kinda Dommy-esque.
Some XR125 maybe pushrod but the NX125 is usually SOHC

This was available, depending on territory, with either the OHV or OHC
engine, disc or drum front and electric or kick.

Most of the grey imports I've seen have been from the Italian market and
they were OHV engine/drum brakes.

To further confuse matters, there is also the Trans-City version. Transalp
in miniature?. Honda make a 400cc version of the Trans-City. It rocketh!

OHC

Although the HBoL won't cover the chassis componentry, it will cover fault
finding.
