Platyfest

28th July, official.
Would beer/wine/vintage port/whiskey be appropriate?
impractical timing; I'll have just returned from the West Country to
London the day before, and am flying to Norn Iron the day after.
Please, sir. Single garage?
I'll rearrange the boat.
Is that on the Gregorian calendar or will it be subjected to Jackies
randomisation at some stage ?
Yes, but not until it's been through the Zymurgy Pre-emptive Temporal
Randomisation Wormhole.
no fests for ages then 2 come along on the same day- tsk!
Marina got a promotion today... Woohooo!

Should we bring cakes?
I'll be in Belgium. Bruges, in fact.

Anyone got any recommendations of things to see and do apart from the
ones already on my list:

Drink beer.
Eat mussels & chips.
Drink more beer.
Shag.
The Groeninge Museum is small but absolutely rammed with top-class
Flemish art, if you're even vaguely interested in that kind of thing
(and/or want to impress the mrs) then The Madonna with Canon van der
Paele [1] will blow your mind and there are some great Bosch pieces.
It's also worth taking a boat trip round the canals, and the belfry
seems quite popular.
ah yes, that too - we did that one - as Ogden says, if you like
Flemish stuff, this place is stuffed full of it.

Note, at least one of the "Bosch" pieces is a repro, if you read the
small print.

[1]
- only seeing it in person does it any justice

I left the two weekends before the 28th for you!

Nasty man
Coo!

I must remember to get more "mind rotter" on the boil :)
