Which Bike?

I have been dreaming of the ownership of a Harley pretty much since the
first time I went for a ride. Went through the growing up of a, started out
with a ATC 70, then on to snowmobile of the time couldn't catch me playing
tag, to a Honda CT90 that I could "wheelie" on demand low and high range,
into the air cooled Yamaha line of IT and then liquid cooled YZ era, thus
injuring myself but not TOO bad on a YZ460, I still look pretty and still
out work , still walk up right.

Now, its gotta be 30 years later and I have the cash in hand. Made my
deposit at the Harley Shop but I aint to sure which way I should go. Do I
wanna go.... low rider soft tail
or the wide glide Dana? What's the difference between the 2? 6"3" 250 lb of
all "Grandpa" is what I am. When making a life decisions like this, I have
never been more sure of myself that I will do the purchase but this has me
wondering which purchase would be right.

Thanks for your help
With your size, I would think the Wide Glide or a Deuce. With these bikes
you have the option of extended reach forward controls to get your knees
out of your elbows. Test ride them both.

I think you are a little large for the Low rider. Go to a 3rd grade
classroom and sit in one of the chairs...you'll get the picture. I think
you will be more cumfortable on the larger bikes.
Rent one , then the other . Lots cheaper than making a $15,000 mistake .
Also , a lot depends on what type of riding you intend to do . Barhoppers
don't tour very well ...
Hey Old Man ! try the bagger before ya buy, and take granny along with ya
